Day One

In the beginning…

So I must admit, I started a water fast with almost no extra preparation other than cutting my meals down to two meals a day. I purchased distilled water and lemons the day before in preparation for my fast.

The first day was pretty good. I did my usual exercise, walking for about 4 miles in the morning and proceeded to have distilled water throughout the day. I did not inform my family immediately as I was a bit uncertain myself if this was the right move at this time. The entire family went to the beach that day, definitely felt energized. Here I am jumping on the sand with my 5 year old niece!

Fortunately I made it! By the end of the day, I felt great, no major hunger pangs, no headaches!
